Clinical Director
Chloe qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Nottingham school of veterinary medicine and science in 2011. Since then she spent four and half years working in a small animal practice with out of hours cover and nearly three years as a locum vet throughout the West Yorkshire region.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Walking and mountain climbing with her husband and her chocolate Labrador, Toby. She also enjoys downhill skiing, keeping active at the gym and Pilates.


Wenda Tonkinson BVM BVS MRCVS
Wenda qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon from Nottingham Vet School in 2018. Prior to this she was a qualified Veterinary Nurse and has worked in the industry for more than 20 years. She joined the Ashfield Vets Wakefield team in April 2021.
Outside of work Wenda enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors. She also enjoys making soft furnishings for her house. Wenda currently has four pets; two Terrier Crosses called Peggy and Karev and two cats Eric and Chilli.
